The light of the 3/2 table lamp on the fixture is designed based on the principle of a reflective threeshade system which directs the majority of the light downwards. The shades are made of mouth-blown opal three-layer glass, which is glossy on the top and sandblasted matt on the inside, giving a soft and diffuse light distribution. It was designed in 1925/26 by Poul Henningsen for the Forum exhibition hall in Copenhagen, Denmark. The PH 3/2 lamp with mouth-blown opal three-layer glass shade which is glossy on top and sandblasted matt on the underside. The lamp in Nordic style provides gentle and glare-free lighting, mainly downwards. PH 3/2 is based on the logarithmic spiral, Poul Henningsen created in order to ensure the even distribution of light and a diffuse reflection. PH 3/2 is an ideal lamp above a dining table or kitchen counter reflecting the light and charm of Scandinavia. This lamp is also available in high lustre chrome. Cable type: Plastic cord with plug. Cable length: 2.1m. Light control: In-line switch on cord. This lamp requires a lightsource of 1 x 40W E14.
